We've hit a wall...

Literally!

Aliyah was playing in her room and somehow ran right into her cinder block wall. The doctor told us she would be fine, she would get a black eye, and if she started to act goofy, bring her back in. Anyone with kids has to laugh at that last bit of advice.

Here is her TWO black eyes a few days later, now people really think we beat our kids!!!

P.S. She is really enjoying having a battle wound!

Well, it happened! Aliyah played with her tooth enough that it feel out! Yesterday around 4-ish, Aliyah turned to me and said, "you're right mom, my tooth is so loose it's almost going to fall out." followed 10 seconds later by, "Mom! my tooth is out, look mom, look!!!"

Later we were discussing the tooth-fairy and she let me know that if she woke up and there was money she would know that the tooth-fairy was really real, but if she woke up and the tooth was still there she would know that there wasn't any tooth-fairy at all.

Turns out there is a tooth-fairy, and just like Aliyah had told me, when you loose your first tooth, she brings you a toy and money, it was even the dinosaur Aliyah had hope for. ;) It's so fun having kids around!

Aliyah had a special fun party with her friends, Natalie, Sy, Carly, Zahne, Korrine, Myra and
Said (he came after the camera died):We played pin the tail on the donkey and a pass the present game, everyone got a little dollar gift, then the kids watched "Barbie and the Three Musketeers".

Then next day, since Nama and Papa didn't really want to join in the kiddie party, we took Aliyah out to lunch with them and Aunt Sandy's family.

J, Anya, Christy, Sandy, Steve, Clark, Lana, and our little family all went to The Golden Corral where the kids all had way too much sugar and fun!

Jed and Aubrey came up for a visit just before Christmas, during their visit they asked if our water was bad because we were drinking bottled water. My answer was "sometimes" and this is what I meant:Two gallons both filled from the same tap on the same day. Can you say "???"

I thought I would take a quick break from school work to update the blog so that it isn't another semester before I post again. We've been pretty busy since about the middle of January. Aliyah is still going strong in her learning at kindergarten, and since Ryan got changed to the graveyard shift -again:P- I have been lucky enough to be able to go with her to class on Fridays. Ryan and I are both back in school this semester, and the roles kind of switched a little with the graveyard schedule. Ryan has mostly History classes online and I have mostly English classes at the University. We are blessed to be able to switch babysitting with Anya -J's mom- so that she and I can both attend daytime classes during the week. Other than my one day time class, I have forced myself to take a fitness class along with some night and Saturday classes. The girls love having J come play with them and they love it when Anya stays, too. Rylee and Lizzy are learning how to get along with each other while Aliyah is gone -right now they are tackle-hugging each other yelling "mine". We got released from nursery, and put on the activities committee. We finished our season of birthdays with a big number 6 for Aliyah (pictures will come someday). And this afternoon, Ryan will be going out to Meridian to meet the boys he will be coaching at the high school! I've probably forgotten something, but it's time for me to get back to my homework before Aliyah's bus and J come! Hope you all are doing well!!!

Christmas!!! (finally)

Christmas this year was simple and nice, we stayed in Boise, had dinner at Ryan's Aunt Sandy's - an nontraditional but ever so yummy lasagna (my mouth is watering just thinking about it!) - and then Ryan's parents came to visit.

When we went to bed, the floor was clear and the tree only had candy canes on it - couldn't find our decorations - when we woke up, as Aliyah puts it - "Santa brought presents and found mommy's decorations too!" What a sweetheart that Santa is... (And I was very exhausted the next day, too!)

Here's our loot! "Santa" - were not sure who - brought some really nice stuff for the girls, boots, clothes, gloves/hats, and Aliyah also got (top-middle) an awesome blanket that turns into a pillow!!! Of course mom and dad only got one present each for Christmas, since each was $$$. Well, I guess technically I got two because Ryan won a Wii a month earlier, and yes I couldn't wait an entire month to open the giant box he brought it home in on NOV 30!!!

And finally to finish the day off, after we got home from dinner, Ryan's parents showed up with a whole new load of presents! My camera died before we could get pictures of the opened presents but here are some fun ones from before they were opened and after the girls opened new coats and Rylee opened butterfly wings! Lizzy was so intrigued when Rylee suddenly turned into a "fu-hur-fy", oh and Rylee had to show off that Santa brought her a matching outfit for her barbies, too! Now our house, that was packed with toys before, is bursting at the seems with them. I am a lot more encouraged to let go of anything!!! We even took a couple nice -old, but nice- toys over to Aliyah's friend Saidi and his sister (a refugee family new to the US).
What a fun Christmas we had!!!

Update part II...

So, here are the pictures I got from our fun time at Dierkes Lake (on the Snake River) in Twin Falls. It was Ryan's class reunion and about 20%-25% of them showed up. All of 10-12 people! Very different, but much more fun than a group of hundreds would be. The girls loved it! Aliyah paddled around in her "boat", Rylee decided she preferred the sand(and her star floater), and Lizzy wanted to float and swim at the same time (she ended up just swimming in the end). I was swimming so I didn't get much of the people there (except my own little ones), and of course after having so much fun, the girls were tired and we left with some sad faces and tears.

After we left the lake, since we payed $3 dollars to get in, we stopped over at Shoshone Falls before heading out. One of Ryan's friends -Steve- and his family were there. The girls had so much fun with their two girls and little boy and it was such a beautiful place. (There are even a few pictures from the drive up the canyon.)

Okay, so I have been a blogging slacker, I just haven't had the energy it takes to sit and pick out pictures, there are just too many cute ones to pick from, and I didn't know how to show them all without taking too much time (plus I've had homework a lot). Until now, or still a couple weeks ago, when Alisha told me about picasa. Love it! So now I will be playing catch up for the next week, starting with "fun times at home in July" (the little one is Mikaila, a friend of ours, and Christian's sister - he is in the background of one of the pictures, but wouldn't turn around for the picture.) and then "Oquirrh Temple Open House" from our trip to SLC in July. Abigail Rosetta Egbert!

After being bombarded with so many (awesome) nephews, Ryan and I finally have another niece!!!

Abby Rose was born to Mark and Shelly Egbert around 2pm, today, July 17th. She was a healthy 8lbs. 12oz. and 21 inches. We hope to see her, or at least pictures soon!!!

That makes 3 beautiful nieces and 6 awesome nephews for us now!!!

We had a breakfast/parade at our ward this morning and of course I left my camera at home, like usual. So, here are pictures of them after we got home. They rode bikes that we decorated in crape paper. Rylee was the "Queen" of our entry and Aliyah and Lizzy were the "Attendants". We had a lot of fun with the little paring lot parade and after that we went to a cool little outside nature center for a nice little walk. Now we are all taking a rest so that we will be ready for the fireworks in the park behind our apartments! So nice to be able to stay home and still see the show...

My Camera is Back!!!

I finally found the button battery my camera needed at a battery store, a battery store! They had every thing from button to car batteries! Anyway, the girls have been so sad that the camera doesn't work that they made sure to have me take some pictures of them when I got home and "fixed" the camera.

Along with having our camera back we are doing great! Ryan is working 8-5, M-F, with a couple disabled boys, no more Lowe's and no more Sundays!! I am doing a couple summer courses and babysitting Baby J still, the girls are having fun running around and making messes. The other day we got to go visit the park with the fountain with J and Anya after her class that day.

We're back!!!

Well, we've been up to a lot lately. Ryan and I have had school and nursery, Aliyah had preschool - I joined her there as much as possible (field trips, lunches, trips to the "big" park, etc.), and then there was the trip to St. George for the Alvey's big event weekend. There have been a lot of other little things, but school ending has been our biggest break! I am especially glad preschool is over, it was fun but by the end of the year, with committies, I was the only person still going. Planning the end of year party myself was a little stressful. But I'm done with that and on to planning my friend, Christina's baby shower (lunch at Olive Garden I'm thinking). Ryan is getting to the point where he might be able to quit Lowes and be home on the weekends! And the girls are back to being up to no good now that they are all together again! Life is good...
Anyway, we finally got pictures of the girls done, (Ryan's cousin Christy took them for us at Rylee's "castle" -aka train depot-she was so excited) here are some:

Well, we still haven't found the teeny tiny battery for our camera, so still no pictures, but I should probably still post something. I guess one of the biggest things to happen was Easter, the girls got dresses from Mom and Dad, movies, a book about Jesus, shoes to match the dresses, tiny baskets with a couple Starbursts and one special big egg, and little chocolate bunnies from the Easter bunny, and a special surprise while we were at church, the Easter Beagle hid some eggs for the girls to find when we got home. He also left the two older girls jump ropes. They thought that was a lot of fun.
Next, on Friday (the 24Th), the girls and I all went to the Zoo with Aliyah's preschool class. 19 kids and 12 adults worked out just right. Although it was a rush to see as much as we could, the kids all stayed in a group and we all had a lot of fun, especially when they finally got to go down the giraffe slide!!! The Zoo was a lot smaller than I had imagined but I think it was just right for a preschool trip, even if there where no elephants...
Also on Friday, we had Ryan's birthday. Since it was Friday and I had class, Ryan wasn't expecting me to make dinner, but I did! When he got home I was just finishing up a meal of spaghetti and meatballs, garlic bread, broccoli and watermelon. I was also in the process of making a lemon meringue pie but the store bought pie crust didn't work out. So, after class I spent the night making my own crust and meringue- I didn't have a lemon so I had to use my canned lemon filling. It turned out good and I hope he liked it too, he was too busy playing computer games with his friend John to stop and eat it!
Now, we are trying to finish up school work for this week and part of next so that we can head down to St. George for the weekend and see Katie get baptised. Then it's finals week and then... SUMMER!!!!

Well, I don't like to blog unless I have pictures, but my camera has a dead battery (the watch kind) and they don't have 'em at Walmart. Anyway, I wanted a new post so here goes.

This last week wasn't any better than the previous, but it wasn't any worse either... We all got sick each it seemed with something different; Ryan had a cough and achiness, Aliyah had a sick stomach, Rylee a fever and achiness, Lizzy an ear infection (we learned at her 15 month check up Thursday), and me? a congested head and migraine. Ryan missed some school and work and Aliyah missed most the week of school, the rest of us stayed home like usual. Poor Rylee was asking me to take Aliyah back to school by Friday :). I guess she really likes her Mommy time. I felt as rushed with school work as usual, but without any tests or papers or plays to read, I was able to get my work done sooner. I had a meeting for the preschool Policy Council on Tuesday, an activity for the Preschool Thursday (only I went to since everyone was sick but I had to give a report on the council meeting and I had the door prizes (cute little kindergarten goodie bags) which I made the night before) and somehow made it to both my classes on Friday night and Saturday morning.

My in-laws came to visit, but actually to work for the first couple days, and all my girls did was asked "When will Papa and Nama be here?" I kept saying maybe tomorrow and ended up being a liar twice, good thing they finally came or else my girls would never trust me again. We went out Saturday with them and, although they were drugged, the kids seemed well. Then Sunday came! I felt like crud but I knew if I didn't go no one would, so I got up, got Ryan up and went to get the kids ready. After they went potty I tried to find the girls to put their dresses on only to find them curled up in whiny little balls on the floor. Needless to say, no church for us this last week. (I still feel guilty- good thing we had the Living Scriptures to watch all day). Then I had to make dinner that night for Ryan's brother and his wife. I got dinner done, but the horrible thing is, I stayed in my PJ's the whole time and we ate wherever because I didn't feel like setting the table. Oh well.

Ryan was happy on Wednesday though, his birthday present came, a month early, he found a refurbished PlayStation 3 about 30% less than a new one. Since his Xbox died and I refuse to let him get an Xbox 360, I let him get his PS3 instead. (It's pretty fun, too.) I'd still like a Wii though.

OH!!! And the best part of the week was when I went to get us all medicine and when the turning lane's light turned green I went, but I wasn't in the turning lane!!! Yeah, in my sickened stupor, I rear-ended someone. Luckily, it was an older truck and it wasn't too bad, we exchanged info and he was really nice, he rear ended someone 6 months ago it turns out, so he knew how I felt. But luckily nothing serious enough for insurance, phew!

And I know this sounds like it wasn't the best week, but I somehow feel like it wasn't that bad at all! We had visitors, we are all stocked up on medicine, I got to be with all my girls all week, we saved on gas by not going out much, we got lots of rest, and my kids were so weak, they couldn't mess the house up like the little monkeys usually do :D!!! I don't think we had more than one "time out" this last week! All -in - all, I'd have to say, best week of my life... okay not that great, but not a bad week, not a bad week!

Oh yeah and my neighbors from down stairs found out on St. Patricks Day that they are having a little girl!!! Yay for them! (I totally forgot St. Patrick's Day this year, and I LOVE St. Patrick's Day, so I bought me some green and white carnations :D) Sorry this is so scattered and messy, and thanks for the nice comments on my last post, you guys are so nice!!!

I wasn't going to write about this, but it did help, I feel a little better now!

Well, it's been six years and I guess today was not at all how I thought it would be. Ryan didn't do anything to make it bad, by all means he was wonderful to me, two weeks ago when we went to the Rascal Flatts concert, that was my birthday and anniversary present. I wanted that more than anything I just wish it had have been closer to one of the actual dates. He was even great about my birthday and bought me a dozen roses and a teeny tiny cake (due to dieting). We went to a play on the 5th, albeit an assignment for our theater classes, and then had his aunt watch our girls so we could go to dinner last Monday (our only free night). It's been a nice couple of weeks, even though it's been stressful too with tests and preschool trips and everything else. But I guess I am just too hard to please or something because today just plain sucked! Ryan started feeling sick yesterday and ended up laying half dead on the couch instead of getting ready for church. He helped as best he could to get the girls some clothes while I bathed them and tried to find my skirt. In the end Rylee, Aliyah and I left Daddy and Lizzy home, which helped a lot with what happened next.

At church: we missed sacrament, I fell asleep sitting in the foyer and only knew it when my snoring woke me up and the teenagers next to us were trying not to laugh to hard, and then the other nursery leaders (who were scheduled for this week) didn't show up. The last one wouldn't have been so bad if 1) Ryan had been there with me, 2) I hadn't already been subing for the second hour for the third lady that is there every week. (In case that was hard to get, there is usually Sister Titmus and one of us couples. Robin got a sub for the first hour and I was going to sub the second hour) So it was me and the first hour sub (and thankfully parents whose kids wouldn't let them leave) but for the second hour everyone left and if it hadn't been for an overload of young women leaders the sub for the first hour would have had to leave, leaving me alone with 10 kids, one of which is handicap and needs extra attention. I survived by the grace of God!

Then at home I found out my delusional husband couldn't handle the baby and put her down for her nap two hours too soon, which meant no nap for me, at least not a trouble free nap. If you could guess from my falling alseep at church, I was tired today. So I ended up falling alseep while the baby sat in her chair eating lunch, only to be awakened by Aliyah telling me that Rylee was spilling Ryan's Gatorade powder all over their bedroom floor... I sent her to timeout told them to be good and went back to what I was doing while they went back to playing, then the sound of water woke me up. They were pouring it on the powder on the floor! I banned them from their room and told them to pick out a movie to watch quietly so Daddy could rest. I really tired to stay awake this time but I failed and every time I opened my eyes they were getting into trouble. I finally had to get Ryan to come out to the couch. Things went better after that, I made the girls dinner and heated some soup for Ryan, the soup ended up having bones in the chicken (canned soup)!!! After dinner the girls went to their room and Ryan went to bed too. The girls stayed up an extra 1 1/2 hours but finally went to sleep. So I spent the evening alone... Happy Anniversary to me!Troubles 1, 2 & 3!

Christmas in Boise

We went to Twin for Christmas this year but luckily Santa brought some of our presents before we left!

I just got through reading Jessica and Cobly's blog and it really touched me to the point that I feel like I need to tell you all thank you! Not just those of you who are reading this either... I want to say thank you to my family; my Mom and Dad, my brothers Zack, Charles and Jed, my sister Shenille, my in-laws Alisha, Erica, Weston, and soon to be Aubrey. I want to send all my love to Katie, Taylor, Isaac, William, Elli, Joshua, and the little boy on his way. I am thankful for all my Aunts and Uncles and Cousins; I miss all the fun times we had when we were younger, and am sad for all the things I've missed. I am thankful for all my Cousin-in-laws and hope to some day meet you all, or see you again. (I am thankful for the internet and Blogs to be able to get to know family from far away, which is a lot for me being here in Idaho.) I am thankful for my Mother and Father-in-law and the lessons I am learning through them. I am thankful for my Brother-in-law and his wife and her son Andy. I am thankful for our Grandparents, especially my Grandma Benson for her generosity and hospitality. I am thankful for my Grandpa Alvey and Gramma Karla and the love they give us! I am thankful for Ryan's Aunts and Uncles (especially to Sandy for that yummy turkey dinner! and all the love and support) I am thankful to have met Ryan's Grandpa Egbert and Uncle Larry before they passed away, and am sad I never got to sit on the front porch with Uncle Larry before he left. Well, as you Utahns know, The Big Game was today and Utah slaughtered (48 to 24) BYU! What you may not know is how upsetting this is to us BSU fans! While all you Ute fans are chering about your big undefeated BCS bowl winning season, us BSU fans have been put in the dark! WE ARE UNDEFEATED TOO!! If only the U could have lost then we could have move ahead of them on the charts!!! Darn Utes!

The No. 9 Boise State football team clinched the outright WAC title Saturday afternoon at Mackay Stadium - holding off the determined Nevada Wolf Pack for a 41-34 victory. It is the Broncos' sixth WAC title in seven years.

In Salt Lake City, however, No. 8 Utah clinched the only Bowl Championship Series spot guaranteed to teams in the non-BCS conferences - beating No. 16 BYU 48-24.

The Broncos (11-0 overall, 7-0 WAC), who wrap up the regular season Friday at Bronco Stadium against Fresno State, now must wait to find out if they will play in the Poinsettia Bowl on Dec. 23 in San Diego against a ranked opponent from the Mountain West Conference or the Humanitarian Bowl on Dec. 30 in Boise against the eighth choice from the Atlantic Coast Conference. They also are still technically in contention for a BCS at-large berth.

This is a picture I took one Sunday afternoon while Brynlee Elizabeth was swinging in her swing and trying to put her binki back in her mouth the right way. It was taken sometime in the middle of July so she was about 7-8 months. The next two pictures showed her taking her thumb in the ring of the binki and flinging it across the room. Such a silly girl!

This picture is the true 4th picture from the 4th file on my computer, but it's not really my file, I got it from a disc my brother let me steal from him that is all pictures of Zack and Alisha's kids for a calendar that was made for my parents one Christmas. I thought it was pretty cute so I put it up, too. It's Katie and Taylor sitting in front of a tree in Grandma Benson's backyard, I'm guessing when the where living there. Such stinkin' cute kids!!!

Aliyah was so excited the other day when her preschool class went to one of the new Boise fire stations! She got to climb on the truck, see all the equipment and all the rooms- like the kitchen, bedroom, and BIG garage! She had so much fun and was so proud when the fire cheif made her an official jr firefighter (in charge of keeping our house safe).

My cousin-in-law, Anya, who had the baby shower, couldn't find Boise State baby bumpers so, she made this set herself!!!

And since his crib is going to be BSU he needed curtains to go with, so she made them, too!

Texas Hold 'Em

Last night was game night; each Friday the people in our tower- who enjoy staying up till all hours- get together to do something after all the kiddies are dead asleep. Of course we are constantly checking to make sure they are still sleeping. Anyway, last night seven of us, who had no idea what we were doing, printed up the instructions for and taught ourselves how to play Texas Hold 'Em. Robert and Jessica brought their table and bench, John and Kristina brought their penny jar, Corrina and I went out four times, each (being saved only by pity loans from the others), Robert and Corrina left early, we all ate too much, and Kristina ended up the big winner of the night, winning back all her own pennies!!! It was lots of fun, and we are even thinking of splitting a dollar to buy some poker chips so we don't have to use any money. (Previous activities: Karaoke(SingStar on Playstation), Pictionary, Bowling, The Game of Life, Cranium, Five Crowns, Various Pot Lucks, and Movies...And we thought college life would be boring for us old folks!!!)

Aliyah was so excited when I told her she could go to a real school instead of just working with mom at the table with her "school books." We found a preschool we wanted but were told that there was a waiting list, so of course, didn't have much hope of her getting in. Then we got a call last week and she started school this last Tuesday. Here are some pictures of her from her first day of school and one of Rylee on Aliyah's second day of school because she is feeling left out! She is having fun and learning lots at school and on assignments they give us for at home, too. She has been waiting for this since she heard the word school!!! Yay Aliyah!

Little Miss Cranky Head!!!

Yup! We have ourselves a little miss cranky head right now, and I would be so frustrated about it if it weren't for the fact that it's because Lizzy just got her first tooth in this week!!! After Rylee pretty much had her whole set of teeth in by the time she was this old I was wondering when it would finally happen for our little Izaboo. She is having such a hard time when Mom isn't right next to her, and loves it when I rub her tooth and tell her it's "my toofer." She loves playing with it with her tongue, too. I don't think any tooth has ever been this fun for us!!! Weirdos, huh!?!

Well, today was a fun day for all of us and of course I forgot my camera, anyway... We started off by going to a stake "green jello" activity. Jump houses, bean bag tosses, horsie races(sticks), spin art, and jello judging were some of the activities we enjoyed. Then we went home and walked to the campus to see the BSU homecoming parade, made off like bandits with way too much candy, so we took some to the neighbors. Then we got the girls ready and took them to Aunt Sandy's house so Ryan and I could go to dinner and bowling with our neighbors sans kids. The girls got to color with chalk, watch a movie, eat, and play with dolls (except Rylee who zonked at 8:00). Aunt Sandy said they were so good she was amazed they had such a fun time and the baby only cried once - when she fell from a standing to a sitting position. Oh and we had pizza at a "Pie" type place and bowling was aweful although I did progress each time. Ryan got consistant just over 100's and I went from 51 to 79 to 100. Gramma and Grampa come to visit

Over the weekend my folks came to visit, I'm trying to upload a slide of highlites but my computer needs a quick kick right now so I will give you a highlite not going to be on the slide!

I was just getting dinner ready when Ryan asked if I was burning something, I thought it was the pot on the stove until I remembered I was keeping some dishes in there due to our very unspacious kitchen. To my dismay, a big white bowl took the beating for my lack of checking the oven before I turned it on. These pictures are from the experience and what is left of my poor bowl!!!

Crazy Crawler

Ryan and the girls were watching teenage mutant ninja turtles this afternoon while I was cleaning the kitchen. Our little Wizaboo (Lizzy) has been learning and becoming more confident with crawling in the past week and likes to come visit me in the kitchen when I'm in there. I thought she might be on her way in but as I walked into the living room she was nowhere to be found. We could hear her cooing and babbling near by and it turns out she by passed the kitchen and went into the hallway where our front door is, when I got there she was sitting facing the door talking to it as if trying to get it to open for her...

then of course she saw me and by the time I got the camera she was headed back.

And, of course, before she could make it much further, her sisters were by her side ready for their pictures, too!
They love their pictures being taken!!!

Home Safe... and Ready for School!

Well, we survived, and of course I forgot to take the camera with us. I never know where the thing is when I need it. We had a "nice" little stay in Twin. My sister-in-law made sure the house was clean the entire time we were there (literally). Except the toy room, her teenage neices helped make it a mess and it needs a whole overhaul, that was a little hard on the kids (especially when they thought they might let the two older kids in but not Rylee, then they took books, writting utinsels, and any smaller toys away from her,too -They have a five year old, all his toys are small!- so we decided none of our girls could go in the toy room.) It was fun to go to his parents. We had a BBQ, the kids got to go play outside for once, and while the kids fell asleep watching a movie, WE got to play cards with the family!!! It was shocking and amazing, doesn't happen much.
But like I said, we survived... And yesterday Ryan started his first day of class for the fall! Pretty exciting for us all, we have a schedule to go by now. Now all he needs to do is get a job on campus and we will be set. Anyway, things are good Ryan is excited with his schedule (even though it includes Music and Theater) he has his coaching class this semester! I need to go get ink for our printer now so, so long!

Revisiting Podunk due to Karaoke...

His parents called, they wanted to see the girls, but since his Aunt was going to Twin THEY couldn't come to US.
I said "Ughhh"
He said "Humph"

Later that night our neighbors invited us to play Life, "Oh and by the way, karaoke competition tomorrow night!!!"
I said "Yay!!!"
He said "Who wants to go see Nama and Papa?"

Who in this world could turn and say "no daddy was kidding" to two bright-eyed beautiful girls all excited to see their Grandparents?!? So, now I sit in my brother-and-sister-in-law's house, REVISITING PODUNK, wishing my husband didn't hate singing so much, wishing I could be beating Robert, the all-around karaoke champ!!!

But even as I am writting this sleep is trying to knock me out! More on this weekend, I'm sure.

The Wedding

Well, as most of you know by now, Charles got married to Erica this last weekend! It was beautiful, and fun to be around everyone. Halfway through the reception though, (I forgot my camera, but Zack and Shen probably have a ton of pics on theirs) it rained, it lasted about an hour. We hid under the porch and in the basement of the hostess then it stopped and they had the bouquette, negli toss and cut the cake. Then we all had to go get kidies to sleep. It was fun to see everyone, even though we didn't get to play much, we stayed at Grandpa Alvey's, which was very nice and quiet except for the girls! These are the only pictures I got, but I love this pose! We also got to see the other side of the family when we stopped in Twin Falls to stay the night down and back, the girls had such a fun time.

We weren't able to make it to the studio this time so, I got the camera out and took a few pictures of our six-now seven month old, these two were my favorite.

These pictures were taken in the park just down the street and around the corner. It wasn't too hot or too cold so we decided to head over there today. It was pretty awesome, river side plus a fountain, soccer, and baseball fields, giant playground (for ages 2-12), plenty of picnic room, and frisbee golf! These are just the things we did in 4 hours!!!

After we ate and played we ended up at the fountain to cool off.
Aliyah loved getting splashed for once.
It's pretty cool, like a giant mister and it spills out 8 different spots! (see Aliyah there with her pants on)
I don't know why but whenever my kids see water their clothes fall off.
At least they laid them out to dry this time.

I was talking to my Mom the other day when she mentioned the name Brynlee was growing on her. I still love the name but Ryan still likes Lizzy. So I was just curious again, who likes the name Brynlee and who likes the name Lizzy?!?

Well, I still don't have any new pictures but I thought it would be a good idea to tell about us. Ryan is from Twin Falls and I am from SLC, we met in St George the fall of 2002 and never left each others side after that, (unless he has to work and I want to leave town.) We got married in Bountiful March of 2003. We moved and moved and ended up having Aliyah in Jan 2004 while living in a small one bedroom mother-in-law house (one BEHIND another.) We moved and moved and moved again, the last time was out of Twin all the way to St George where we had our Rylee in Dec 2005. Then we thought we had a golden oppurtunity that took us from our happiest year in sunny St George back up to Twin, but it was too good to be true and we moved again to a nice two bedroom town house where we had our last beauty Lizabeth in Dec 2007. (She was enough trouble coming to make us think twice about when Daddy might try for his boy.) Life was going but we weren't sure where when one night my mother asked me on a phone call why we didn't move to Boise and send Ryan to school. Ryan, overhearing this, and being an avid BSU fanatic, got stars in his eyes and that started the ball rolling on our new found adventure.
We are still doing well and even though it's crowded at the moment, we finally have all of our things in our new home. All we have to do now is find places for eveything to go. We love and miss you all, glad we got to see those of you who came to the Porter reunion and can't wait to see those of you who are able to make it to the wedding!!!

I guess it's finally time that Ryan and I got on here. It was just too hard to do from a library computer. Now we have our own computer in our own little town of Boise Idaho. Ryan is finally doing what he's told me he's wanted to do since we met. He is starting school working hard and hoping to acheive a degree in Secondary Ed (Emphasis in Biology) with a minor in coaching- football of course. He has already finished one of his summer classes, Western civilizations history, he got a B+. We are so proud of him and the hard work he is doing. Even if it means we don't see him very much. He is also working part time at Lowes, so he keeps pretty busy!

The girls and I are busy trying to set up the house and decide where things go. We don't very much agree on this, Aliyah thinks everything should stay where it is, Rylee thinks the water from the tub or either of our two bathroom sinks should go on the floor, and Lizabeth thinks everything should go in her mouth, even her Daddy' homework (thankfully already turned in and graded). Over all they are good helpers. They love being in Boise where Daddy's school is and Aliyah can't wait until next fall when she can go to school like him.

We are all doing good and loving our new adventure, even if it does feel a few years past due, it wouldn't have been near as much fun with just Ryan and me. Our only hope is to make the schooling go by as quick as possible and not take any extra years doing it. We love you all and hope the best for each of you. More to come when more happens!
